This long-awaited match, having been rescheduled four times, finally took place last Sunday away to Adare. Adare took control early and we never really troubled them after that, with the home team winning on a scoreline of 0-17 to 0-9. This disappointing result leaves us fifth in the group after four matches on two points. Our last remaining match is scheduled for 24 September against Ballybrown, who are currently pointless. Na Piarsaigh top the group on 8 points, followed by Doon and Adare on five points each, with Pallasgreen on four points. Ahane and Monaleen lead the way in the other group, though Kilmallock have games in hand. Photo is the team huddle before the match.
