This Sunday 6 October at 5:15pm in Bruff, our Under 14 hurlers line out against Kilmallock in the county final. Win or lose, this team has performed superbly well to get this far, pulling off a rare win over our great rivals Na Piarsaigh to get to this stage.
Match Report Competition
- To mark this event, the club is inviting all club members from ages 6 to 16, boys and girls, to go along to the match on Sunday and write up a match report. The best match report will be submitted for publication to the Limerick Leader and the Weekly Observer, and will receive a €20 voucher to the club shop. We will also award a limited number of €10 vouchers as runner-up prizes. All entries will be posted to the club website.
- The match report can be as short or as long as you like, and if you can squeeze in a post-match interview, and include a photo or two, that would be better still! It’s all a bit of fun and hopefully an incentive to get out and support our lads on Sunday.
- Entries should be clearly marked with your name, age and contact number/email for a parent, placed in an envelope marked “U14 Hurling match Report Competition” and handed to John Page or Wanda Hayes. You could also hand it in to the club shop or to your coach, who will get it to us one way or the other. Alternately you can email it to this email address. Closing date is Saturday 12th October, but if you need longer just pop us an email to let us know that you have an entry coming.
