Mungret U14 Feile hurlers played Ahane on Sunday 11th March. Thanks to all who gave up there Saturday getting the pitch ready, conditions were fantastic for the first match of the season. Lined out as follows John O Donovan, Eoin O Malley, Luke Fitzgibbon, Sean Deignan, Conor Lynch, Dan O Brien, Conor Flahive, Paul O Brien, Brian Barry (1-2) , William Fitzgerald (0-1), Inis Haxhji, Rory Duff, Jack Coyne (0-1), Darragh Lehihan (1-0), Padraig Mc Guinness (1-0), Fergus Beatty, Conor Haliwell, Oscar Dillon, Jack Doherty, Louis Dee. Our team dominated all areas of the field. The defence was out in front to every ball our midfield were winning the breaks and everyone in the forward line was keen to get on the ball. Man of the match Sean Deignan and our half back Conor Lynch had a fantastic game. Final Score: Mungret 3-4 Ahane 0-4. Next feile match is against Na Pairsaigh at home.
